The process of planning your kitchen design can be very stressful. With so many things to think about and decisions to make, it’s easy to lose your way and end up with something that falls short of your expectations. The “working triangle”
This is a term used by many kitchen designers and means the following three things – cooking, food, preparation and cleaning (i.e. – sink area). Don’t try and make your kitchen too quirky, it needs to be functional and convenient even if you’re not a master chief. When planning your kitchen, you need to think about where you want your commercial laundry equipment and the practicalities of how you will actually use the room.

Styling
Kitchen cabinets are the main design people see and is the most important part to achieving the look you want. Open plan kitchen are very popular these days and if you have this style then you must make sure your kitchen style complements the other living area. If your kitchen is a singular room then you can be quite daring with your colour scheme.

Lighting
Lighting has a big impact on your kitchen and depending on what you choose will completely change the look and feel. If you want a more contemporary design think about including spot lights and track lighting – this kind of styling really makes a difference. If your kitchen is of a more traditional design, you might want to choose something a little more ornate.

Colour
It’s important to think about what colour the surrounding walls and floor is going to be to make sure it all fits the look you want.
